(VOVworld) – Vietnam will mark the World Water Day 2014 on March 22nd with a national meeting on March 21st in Lai Chau, one of the largest river basins in Vietnam. At a media conference in Hanoi on Monday, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment said other activities include a symposium on water and energy, a photo exhibition “Water-Humans-Life”, performances and other advocacy programs.
This year’s World Water Day is themed “Water and Energy”, encouraging action towards improving combined and coordinated water and energy management and governance.
