The conclusions were highlighted in two reports on institutional breakthroughs and green growth for a sustainable future released by the World Bank on Thursday in Hanoi.
Nguyen Nhu Quynh, Director of the National Institute for Finance under the Ministry of Finance, said: “The Party and the State are prioritizing institutional reforms, streamlining administrative procedures, decentralizing power along with resource allocation, and reorganizing administrative units for greater efficiency. Regarding green growth, Vietnam is committed to achieving net-zero emissions by 2050. However, it’s not an easy path. In-depth studies and reports like these play a vital role in analyzing challenges and proposing practical policy recommendations for Vietnam’ to promote green transition and strengthen public administration.”
