Those arrive by road, sea or railways are not required for this quick test and can proceed with the trip without any restriction.
General Administrator of Vietnam Tourism Nguyen Trung Khanh: "Our first market targets are those without tough restrictions when travelers return from Vietnam. For other markets which have sufficient facilitation for travelers, we will do more research and update our market access strategy."
The tourism sector aims to provide equal treatment to foreign visitors as domestic travelers. Final decisions will be made by the government prior to the March 15 opening day.
