With this achievement, the Vietnamese national team was among the top 10 countries with the highest overall team scores.

The IBO 2025, took place in the Philippines from July 19 to July 27, brought together 81 teams from 81 countries and territories with 298 contestants. 

The International Biology Olympiad is one of the leading international competitions at the high school level, requiring advanced knowledge in biology and interdisciplinary skills in mathematics, physics, chemistry, and environmental science as well as a wide range of laboratory skills.
