(VOVworld)-The Vietnam Fatherland Front has marked the 82nd founding anniversary of the Vietnam national united front. Speaking at the ceremony on Thursday, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Chairman Huynh Dam said that the front has gathered people from all walks of life to ensure the successful resistance wars against the French and the US for national salvation.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front has mobilized public contribution to poverty reduction and the building up of cultural lifestyle at local communities: “The Vietnam Fatherland Front has consolidated its role and active participation in the review and revision of the 1992 Constitution. We have diversified mobilization of social strengths to promote the national unity and patriotism while improving the front’s performance efficiency.”
The Vietnam Fatherland Front granted media awards to organizations and individuals in the recognition of their efforts to promote national unity.
