General Quang asked Interpol to adopt flexible mechanisms to help law enforcement agencies of member countries improve their effectiveness in fighting cyber crime, especially transnational crime.He expressed his hope that the Interpol Global Complex for Innovation (IGCI), once in operation, will become a leader in combating cyber crime.He urged Interpol and other nations to increase information sharing, expertise exchanges, and cooperation in personnel training and technical equipment.

On the sidelines of the meeting, Minister Quang met with Interpol President Mireille Ballestrazzi and Interpol Secretary General Jurgen Stock, both of whom praised Vietnam’s effective coordination in fighting crimes.
