He made the remarks at the Vietnam E-Payment Forum 2017 which was held in Hanoi on Monday morning.
"Vietnam has devised a number of policies and projects to encourage non-cash payment in general, and mobile payment in particular, to help the eople better benefit from numerous emerging e-services. We’re in the making of a national financial inclusion strategy and mobile payments will be a crucial part to realize this goal. The Vietnamese government pledges to create favorable conditions to boost e-payment in Vietnam.", noted Hue.
Deputy PM Hue also met with Jack Ma, the chairman of Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba, who held that Vietnam is a favorable market to develop e-payment. Ma promised to share Alibaba’s achievements in developing e-payment and sign deals on e-commerce and science and technology with Vietnam.
