(VOVworld)-Vietnam will actively participate in activities under the framework of the 14^th Francophonie Summit in the Republic of Congo this week.

The 14th Francophonie Summit in the Republic of Congo

The 5-day event beginning this Wednesday features French language and environmental and economic challenges facing global governance. Ambassador Duong Van Quang said Vietnam was one of founding nations of the grouping in 1970. It successfully hosted the 7^th Francophonie Summit in Hanoi in 1997. The country has been a drafting party to the Francophonie’s contribution to tripartite cooperation dossier to be discussed at the upcoming summit.
