(VOVworld) - Hanoi has welcomed a Christmas Season with all conventional decorations of Christmas trees, Santa Claus and sleighs.

The area around Hoan Kiem Lake in downtown Hanoi has been arranged for pedestrians only and it has been a magnet for travelers to enjoy the celebration. Tuan Hien and Huy Hoang are among the festival goers: “I find the place very peasant and full of festive spirit. Both Vietnamese anf foreigners come here to celebrate the Noel and wish each other a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.”

In Ho Chi Minh City, recreational centers are full of people celebrating Christmas. Dang Quang Vinh is from District 6: “The city is beautiful and full of fun with safe traffic conditions. The weather is nice for us to celebrate Christmas.”
