(VOVworld)-Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has worked with the Ministry of Public Security’s Railway and Road Traffic Police Department on its plan to ensure traffic safety for Tet celebration.
He praised the traffic police’s role in the minimization of traffic accidents as this was the 2nd year in a row the number of traffic accidents was kept below 10,000: “During the traditional lunar New Year festival, the traffic police force has to monitor key areas, especially along national highways with high risks of traffic accidents. Sufficient staff must be on duty to deal with violations. The policy should recommend to the Party and State new measures to minimize the number of traffic accidents.”
