(VOVworld) – Thủy Biều precinct in the central city of Hue is famous for garden houses, especially gardens of green tea, ancient wooden houses, and historical relics. Relying on those advantages, the precinct’s Farmers' Association has built community-based tourism models to boost farmers’ incomes. Since the beginning of this year, the association has organized Thủy Biều discovery tours. 20 farm households are now developing community-based tours. Thái Nguyên Bửu is Director of a community-based tourism company in Ho Chi Minh City: “The precinct has great tourism potential with its position near Hue city, and its original cultural relics. People here are very friendly. To get here, visitors can travel by boat on the Huong River or come on the road from the city center”.

Tôn Nữ Quỳnh Tương is Chairwoman of the Farmers' Association: “The association has developed its local potential to popularize village culture and create more income for farmers. For example, the farmers themselves introduce their garden houses to visitors”.
