(VOVworld) – The revised Land Law, approved at the 6
th session of the 13
th National Assembly, is an important Law that greatly affects the country’s politics and socio-economics. This was stated at Friday’s year-end press conference of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment that took place in Hanoi.
Minister Nguyen Minh Quang said that the revised Land Law comprises 9 new important statutes, specifically regulating the rights and obligations of the state, and the state’s guarantees for land users. The law also outlines the rights and obligations for different groups of land users, and forms of land use. He added that the revised Law has established equality in accessing land, and in implementing the rights and obligations of land use between domestic and foreign investors in accordance with integration and investment attraction requirements. The minister reiterated that it’s among the ministry’s key tasks for next year to popularize the revised Land Law.
The new rule will come into force on July 1
st, 2014. It has 14 chapters with 212 articles, an increase of 7 chapters and 66 articles in comparison with the 2003 Land Law.
