Techfest Vietnam is the largest annual event dedicated to the start-up and innovation community in Vietnam and will advise policymakers on how to attract domestic and foreign resources for developing the start-up and innovation ecosystem.

During the 3-day event, there will also be discussions on global technological trends and sharing of outstanding models and the experience of experts in startup ecosystem development and investment in startups.

Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Tran Van Tung says: “This year’s theme is ‘Resource convergence’ refering to people with innovative ideas and technological resources. Innovative ideas and new technologies converge in startup businesses and startup businesses converge with investment and financial activities in the Vietnamese startup ecosystem.”

The festival will also include an artificial intelligence competition called ‘Deep Racer’ organized by Amazon Web Services, plus an open innovation forum and the final round of a national start-up talent contest.
