(VOVworld) – 12 buses departed on Sunday to transport nearly 600 disadvantaged students, and workers to their homeland on Tet holidays. This is part of the program “Spring buses – Gathering in Tet holiday” aiming to support disadvantaged people.

Another 1,100 students were transported on the buses. Many students feel happy as they can return home without having to experiencing long queue for tickets. Student Le Thi Thuy said: “Those buses are so comfortable to us. We hope that the program will be maintained annually to help disadvantaged students like us on Tet holidays”.
Le Ngoc An, Director of Suntory pepsyco Vietnam limited company, a sponsor for the program, said: “Tet is the time for family reunion. Many students and workers have difficulty getting bus tickets to come home on this occasion. Pepsico has sponsored 5,000 free tickets to students and workers”.
