Reuters hails Vietnam’s support to countries in need to cope with Covid-19

(VOVWORLD) -  The Reuters news agency cited information that Vietnam is also lack of resources comparing to the neighbouring country, however, still willing to donate as many as possible the countries which urgently in need of medical support when the number of COVID-19 cases continues to surge. 

 The Vietnamese Government and people presented medical equipment to neighbouring Laos and Cambodia. The gifts, which included specialized protective clothing, testing systems, COVID-19 test kits, 340,000 medical face masks to Cambodia and 340,000 ones to Laos. France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and Britain were also handed over donations of 550,000 face masks in total from Vietnam. Vietnam has handed over 450,000 protective suits to the US and received a message of thanks from President Donald Trump.
