He stressed the need for the region to develop the processing of agro-forestry products towards promoting identity and uniqueness. The Prime Minister added that the central highlands should be a significant symbol of Vietnam’s tourism associated with epics and heritages. He suggested that the region promote tangible, intangible, and traditional values of local ethnic groups such as the Ede, Jarai, M’Nong, and Bana: “The word “Central Highlands” should be remembered by coffee connoisseurs all over the world. This requires strong will and strategy by the tourism and agriculture sectors. Let us turn the region into one of the most unique coffee rendezvous in the world, where we can enjoy a cup of coffee to the accompaniment of gongs music and the local hospitality.”
