Addressing an online meeting with nearly 200 localities in the northern province of Thai Nguyen on Friday, the Prime Minister said this will serve children’s learning needs in remote and mountainous areas.
“On the occasion of the new school year, on behalf of the Party and State leaders, I warmly extend my best wishes to teachers and pupils. Education and training are key national priorities and the cause of the Party, the State and the people towards equality, unity and mutual support and respect in development between nations. The Party and State have always prioritized investment in educational and training development in disadvantaged regions, remote, mountainous areas and islands. Ethnic boarding schools have proved its strengths to promote social economic development, national defense and security in ethnic and mountainous regions, reflecting the socialist orientation in Vietnam,” said Prime Minister Chinh.
The Prime Minister recalled President Ho Chi Minh’s statement to count on young people’s studying performance so that Vietnam could gloriously stand byside with world powerhouses.
