Pham Van Linh, Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee's Commission for Communications and Education, made the remark at a training workshop for reporters and editors in the central and central highlands region held in Da Nang city on Monday.

Linh said external relations information should aim at improving Vietnam’s image and position in the international arena. He noted: “In-depth evaluation and knowledge presented at the workshop will help reporters and editors improve their work. The presentations touch upon facts regarding Vietnam’s sovereignty and the legality of struggles against anti-social attitudes, particularly in democracy, human rights, and religions.”
