The event marked the 88th anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Traditional Day (November 18). Over the past 15 years, the Great National Unity Award has encouraged journalists to disseminate more information about Vietnam’s policies to unite the nation and the Fatherland Front’s activities.
"This year’s entries have vividly portrayed the diverse activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels, reflecting the organization’s role as the representative of the Vietnamese people in overseeing state activities and promoting great national unity," said Journalist Ho Quang Loi, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association.
The organizers decided to grant the 13th Press Award for the Cause of Great National Unity to 76 works, featuring one special prize, along with three A, 13 B, 27 C and 32 consolation prizes.
