The reception of large MICE delegations shows that Da Nang’s tourism industry is recovering strongly and that the city is a leading destination for MICE visitors.

Under Da Nang’s policy, MICE groups consisting of 700 or more guests are assisted by the municipal police. Events that include foreign visitors are facilitated by the Department of Foreign Affairs.

Cao Tri Dung, Chairman of the Da Nang Tourism Association, said, “Da Nang, Asia's leading event destination, has a policy of encouraging MICE visitors. We call on businesses and coordinate with state management agencies to offer new incentives for MICE tourists to come to the city.”
