(VOVworld) - Hanoi has hosted the 5
th Voluntary Blood Donation Day in response to the International Volunteer Day (December 5) and towards a target of 1 million blood units donated for this year.
The annual event aims to promote the volunteer spirit in various activities and honor outstanding volunteer campaign leaders. Nguyen Thi Linh is from Hanoi Medical College:
“This is my first time participation in the blood donation campaign. During Tet holiday, many hospital maybe in short of blood and I wish to contribute my part to help patients.”
