The Statistics Office of the Ministry of Finance told a press conference on Saturday that Vietnam's GDP growth was the highest in Southeast Asia. In particular, the agro-forestry, and fisheries sector maintained stable growth, meeting domestic consumption needs and serving exports. The industry and construction sectors saw strong performance, with a growth of 8.07% and 9.62%, respectively.

Statistics show that Vietnam’s macroeconomy remained stable while inflation was under control and supply and demand for essential goods are secured.
During the review period, domestic consumption continued to grow steadily. International tourist arrivals rose sharply and workers' average monthly incomes were higher than last year while social security programs were strengthened.
