The contest, co-organized by VOV, Broadcasting Development JS Company (BDC) and Korea’s Sublime Entertainment Concert Company, aims to discover and nurture new talents for the Vietnamese music industry while celebrating the 27th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and South Korea. "VOV hosts 2 big music events in the new year of 2020 to introduce to Vietnamese music lovers, especially the young ones, the vigorous development of the Korean music industry, their favorite songs and artists. We hope that music will contribute to boosting the cooperative and friendly relations between Vietnam and South Korea to new heights," said VOV President Nguyen The Ky at the event.
The finalists will be practising with their Korean coaches for the final, which will be held as part of the 2020 K-Pop Super Concert on Saturday at My Dinh National Stadium.
