This is an annual activity of the Ministry of Industry and Trade in response to the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritizing Vietnamese goods" launched in 2009. 

This year, the festival will features a series of activities to promote Vietnamese goods and connect big and small businesses, cooperatives, and farmers.

In his address, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Do Thang Hai, Deputy Head of the Central Steering Committee of the campaign said that the growth of retail sales is the bright spot of the Vietnamese economy.

The Ministry will work closely with localities to further promote the campaign, said Hai.  

The campaign "Vietnamese people prioritizing Vietnamese goods" is part of the effort to strengthen the sustainability of the domestic market and encourage businesses to produce more high-quality Vietnamese goods to meet domestic consumption and export demand.
