(VOVworld) – The Government Inspectorate announced the establishment of the Central Citizen Reception Committee in Hanoi on Tuesday.

This committee will help the party, state, government, and National Assembly to be more aware of citizens’ complaints, petitions and denunciations. It will aid the filing of complaints and denunciations and their handling. Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc asked the Government Inspectorate to issue documents guiding the implementation of the Law on Citizen Reception and coordinate with the Central Citizen Reception Committee in settling complaints and denunciations across the country: “People’s opinions must be respected and taken into consideration. The handling of complaints and denunciations must be prompt. Localities are also required to establish their own citizen reception committees since the Law on Citizen Reception became effective.”
