A meeting announces that the official ceremony to mark the 60th Traditional Day of Border Guard Force will take place on March 1 in Hanoi.

These include programs to honor policy beneficiary families and those who rendered great services to the nation, as well as projects to educate younger people about the Vietnamese army’s heroic traditions. A number of projects have been completed to mark the event such as the upgrading of the Lo Ren Martyrs Memorial Complex in Quang Ninh province, a statue dedicated to security forces who protected borders at the national historical relic site on the two banks of Hien Luong River in Quang Tri province.
An official ceremony to mark the Border Guard Force’s Traditional Day will be held at the Ministry of Defense’s headquarters and broadcast live on the Voice of Vietnam and the Vietnamese Army’s Radio and TV Center on March 1.
