(VOVworld) - Former US President Bill Clinton will visit an orphanage in Vietnam and examine a Clinton Health Access Initiative program that aims to prevent HIV infection among children. Vietnam is part of a week-long trip by Clinton as a representative of the Clinton Foundation HIV-AIDS Initiative who has also traveled to India, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, and Australia.

Clinton made enormous contributions to the normalization of the US-Vietnam relations. He has visited Vietnam 3 times with the trip in November, 2000, marking the first by a US President to Vietnam 25 years after the Vietnam war.
