(VOVworld) – The award ceremony for the 10th national competition to raise public awareness of water resources use and protection took place on Sunday in Hanoi.

The event was held by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, the Ministry of Education and Training, the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations and the Vietnam Association for Conservation of Nature and Environment. Over the past 10 years, the competition has received a lot of entries helping to disseminate information and raise public awareness of proper use and protection of water resources. More than 30,000 students have taken part with around 12,000 projects. 20 first prize winners were sent to Sweden for international competitions. This year, there were more than 400 entries from students nationwide. 11 most outstanding entries will be awarded.
