Since its launch 2 months ago, the contest entitled “Immortal flowers” received 87 entries, of which 10 won prizes. The A prize, the highest prize was given to the song “Fairy tale of our homeland” composed by Ngoc Thinh from lyrics written by Ngoc Vuong. Nguyen Ngoc Luong, Secretary of the Youth Union, said: “Authors have skillfully used traditional music to create warmness and love in their songs. Many songs are written in a modern and emotional way, feeling the sacrifices of our predecessors in the struggle for national independence and responsibility of today’s young people to deserve those sacrifices.”
