On display are documents, objects and medals representing President Ho Chi Minh’s view and teachings about sports as well as the Party and State’s direction to promote sports.

In Hanoi, outstanding athletes and coaches have been honored on this occasion. Footballer Nguyen Van Quyet from Hanoi’s Football Club was one of the nominees winning votes for the title.

“I’m honored and pleased to represent football in winning this title. I am thankful for my football club for sharing a successful season last year,” said Quyet.

Ha Long City held an Olympic jogging event in response to the movement. Nguyen Thi Hien, a local participant, told VOV: “It’s meaningful for me to do exercises regularly, especially for the elderly like me. Improving our health means a better life quality for all.”
