(VOVworld) – Activities celebrating Vietnam Ethnic Groups’ Cultural Day (April 19) will be held from Wednesday to Sunday at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism in Son Tay town on the outskirts of Hanoi.  Patriarchs, artisans and others from 8 Vietnamese ethnic minority groups will participate in exhibitions and performances of traditional musical instruments made from bamboo and re-creations of traditional ethnic minority festivals.

Vietnam Ethnic Groups’ Cultural Day, which is hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, aims to preserve and uphold the traditional cultural values of Vietnamese ethnic communities and enhance Vietnam's great national unity.
