The event aims to praise people with disabilities’ optimism and determination to overcome their physical challenges and integrate into community. The week long event will last until December 12.

More than 1,000 people with disabilities and volunteers joined an event in Ho Chi Minh City on Wednesday to help them in networking and share stories on how to overcome difficulties and improve living standards.

In the central highlands province of Dak Lak, clubs of the handicapped held an event to present gifts for children with difficulties.

Hanoi hosted a night show honoring people with disabilities and their self-confidence as well as determination to realize their wishes.
