A ceremony was held in Hanoi on Monday to mark the start of a two-month campaign running through August. At the event, Nguyen Minh Triet, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, said. "The launching of volunteer youth teams to support the operation of the two-tier local administration model and promote the provision of online public services is a key activity in the 2025 summer campaign and also a concrete step in realizing the Party and State’s policy. It's essential to clearly identify the actual needs of each administrative unit after the restructuring to address their needs without delay."

On Monday morning, more than 4,800 volunteer youth teams with over 241,000 members were deployed in over 3,300 communes, and wards across the country. In addition, more than 700 students from 286 universities and colleges joined in the “Green Summer” voluntary campaign in different localities.
