Mr. Quyet addressed a Hanoi ceremony to celebrate the 95th anniversary of founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26), present the Ly Tu Trong Prize to 100 outstanding Youth Union officials and the First Class Labor Order to the organization.
Congratulating the honorees, the senior Party official emphasized that in the era of national rise, youth always hold an extremely important role and responsibility. They will continue the revolutionary cause and pioneer in accessing new knowledge, mastering science and technology, innovation, digital transformation, entrepreneurship, and international integration, he said.
First Secretary of the Youth Union Central Committee Bui Quang Huy cited an article by Party leader To Lam titled “Youth and the Future of the Country”. In the article, Mr. Lam said patriotism in the modern era must be expressed through knowledge, capability, and a determination to master science and technology and shape the nation’s future.
Mr. Huy said the guiding message outlined in the article serves as an important direction for the Youth Union and young people nationwide in their efforts to learn, train, and contribute.
