The event will also be an occasion to widely promote the image of the land of the Buddhism as well as Vietnam’s northeastern region to domestic and international friends.
At its 47th session held in Paris in July, the UNESCO World Heritage Committee decided to include Yen Tu-Vinh Nghiem-Con Son-Kiep Bac Complex in the World Cultural Heritage List. This is Vietnam's 9th UNESCO world cultural heritage site and the 2nd trans-provincial heritage site after Ha Long Bay-Cat Ba Archipelago.
