The WTO meeting in the capital of the United Arab Emirates opened on Monday with major disagreements on key issues. These include fisheries subsidies, agriculture, and a moratorium on customs duties for digital transactions, which dominated the agenda of the talks.

Everybody is working with a very positive outlook to try to see what's the maximum they can get done, Indian commerce minister Piyush Goyal told journalists, adding that he is confident the conference will produce significant results.
