Hoang Manh Duy, Head of Project Communication Department, said that the bridge has completed the formalities to earn the Guinness Record "The longest walking glass bridge in the world". The Guinness Record is expected to be announced in late April or early May.

The bridge is part of the tourist and resort complex Moc Chau Island, in Muong Sang commune, Moc Chau district, which will be open to tourists on April 30 and May Day holiday and will be officially inaugurated in mid-May.

Bach Long is the third glass bridge built in Vietnam after Rong May Bridge in Lai Chau and Love Bridge in Moc Chau.

The world's longest glass bridges recognized by Guinness are in China. Currently, the longest glass-bottomed bridge measures 526m in Qingyuan, Guangdong, China.
