Lao national news agency KPL published interviews with leaders and former leaders of the Lao Party, State, and Government, emphasizing that General Secretary Trong systematically researched Marxism-Leninism and combined it with Ho Chi Minh Thought, creating valuable ideological legacies for the Communist Party of Vietnam and the world.

Russia's TASS news agency published an article praising General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong as a loyal Communist soldier who devoted to his life and career to Vietnam and its people, earning admiration both domestically and internationally.

The article quoted Mr. Gennady Ziuganov, Chairman of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, who praised Trong for his efforts to ensure that the Vietnamese people live in dignity and for the country's outstanding achievements. Ziuganov also highlighted Trong's role in strengthening the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and Russia.

In an article titled "An Irreparable Loss for Cuba," Prensa Latina news agency expressed that Cuba will always remember General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong as a great brother who tirelessly promoted the special friendship between the two Parties, National Assemblies, Governments, and peoples of the two countries.
