(VOVworld) - The World Bank (WB) will give half a million USD to Can Tho city to carry out a “Green-Clean-Beauty Program”, part of a project to upgrade the Mekong Delta urban region. The news was released by Tran Minh Phat, Deputy Director of Can Tho city’s Official Development Assistance (ODA) Project Management Board, at a Tuesday working session with the Can Tho People’s Committee and relevant departments.

According to Phat, the program is being implemented in four districts of Can Tho city - O Mon, Ninh Kieu, Cai Rang and Binh Thuy. The program aims to establish an environment that improves the health and lives of locals, environmental sanitation, and sustainable use of construction works.
