(VOVWORLD) -A workshop on enhancing competitiveness of Vietnamese enterprises through digital technology and global market connectivity was held on Monday as part of the first Autumn Fair 2025 at the Vietnam Exposition Center, Hanoi.

Digital trade accounted for nearly 25% of the total value of global trade in goods and services, according to the 2024 report of UN Trade and Development (UNCTAD). Leading countries such as the United States, China, South Korea, and Singapore are speeding up digital trade strategies centered on data, digital platforms, and AI.

For Vietnam, digital technology and e-commerce are not only a trend but have become a new growth driver for exports, enabling Vietnamese businesses to directly reach global consumers, reduce intermediary costs, and increase brand value. The Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency has been supporting enterprises in applying digital technology to trade promotion and connecting with major domestic and international e-commerce platforms.

These insights will support Vietnamese enterprises in adopting effective digital approaches across production, marketing, and sales, strengthening the reputation of Vietnamese brands at home and abroad, and above all, pursuing sustainable growth driven by innovation and digital cooperation.”
