The group is tasked with consulting the Prime Minister on mechanisms, policies, criteria, and standards of international competitive investment cooperation and initiatives to grasp investment cooperation opportunities. Its tasks will involve implementing domestic and foreign investment promotion activities, creating favorable conditions for Vietnamese enterprises to participate in the value chain, and investing in high-tech projects combined with human resource training cooperation. The group will  promote the digital economy, contribute to the sustainable socio-economic development of Vietnam, and facilitate inter-sectoral and inter-regional coordination to promote the linkage of project chains.
