Vice Chairman of the Confederation Ngo Duy Hieu told a press conference on Wednesday in Hanoi, “We invite the National Assembly deputies to meet and listen to opinions of voters who are workers, so that their voices will be reflected in the development of the legal system, including the revised Law on Social Insurance, the Law on Trade Unions, the Law on Housing, among others. At least each province will organize a thematic voter contact program between National Assembly deputies and workers.”
During the Workers' Month, the grassroots trade unions in enterprises are coordinating with employers to organize a forum "Workers for businesses, businesses for workers", and “Thank you to the employees" events.
Trade unions have called on businesses to find solutions to ensure jobs and income for workers in a sustainable way.
