Workers in Ho Chi Minh City had the highest average income nationwide of 390 USD per month, up 36.5% quarter-on-quarter. They’re followed by workers in Binh Duong province with 380 USD per month, up 54% quarter-on-quarter, and 370 USD per month in Dong Nai province, up 33% against the previous quarter.

Reporting on the COVID-19 impacts on the labor market in the first quarter, the General Statistics Office said the average income of workers reached 280 USD per month, up 25 USD compared to the previous quarter.
