The project has a total capital of over 200 million USD invested by the Ministry of Transport. Cuu Long Transport Infrastructure Investment and Development Corporation is the project management unit.

The 6-lane expressway is designed for vehicles driven at a speed of 100 km/h. The project is expected to be completed in 2022 and put into operation in 2023.
