WHO says Monkeypox still containable

(VOVWORLD) -There have been 131 confirmed cases of monkeypox and a further 106 suspected cases in 19 countries since the disease was discovered in Africa 3 weeks ago.

In a statement, the WHO said that while this outbreak is quite unusual, it is still containable.

The WHO said it will soon hold meetings to come up with recommendations to help countries deal with monkeypox cases.
