It will not be surprising if Vietnam sees new COVID-19 cases in the community, WHO Representative in Vietnam Dr. Kidong Park told the National Steering Committee on COVID-19 Prevention and Control in Hanoi Monday.

He said the WHO believes Vietnam will be able to quickly detect cases, trace exposures, and identify hot spots. The WHO respects Vietnam’s decision to bring home hundreds more from stricken areas, he added.
