On Saturday, North Korea said it had received birthday greetings for leader Kim Jong-un from US President Donald Trump, but their personal relationship did not warrant a return to talks. North Korea’s state news agency KCNA quoted Kim Kye Gwan, a top adviser to North Korea’s foreign ministry, as saying Pyongyang will not return to a dialogue with the US unless all its demands are accepted by Washington. There will never be negotiations on North Korea’s removal of nuclear facilities in exchange for the lift of US sanctions, Kim added.
