Diplomatic sources said on Thursday that Iran has installed many more uranium enrichment machines in an underground nuclear facility in Fordow that the West fears is aimed at making nuclear bombs. Iran appears to have completed installing two more cascades of 350 centrifuge machines, in addition to six cascades that were previously installed at Fordow, said several sources.

In another development, satellite imagery indicates Iran has covered a building at its Parchin military site, causing worry in the West that Iran wants to hide evidence of its nuclear activities. A Western diplomat said cleaning the Parchin site will make it difficult for the IAEA inspectors to find incriminating evidence even if they are given access to the site. Iran has not made any comment, but it previously denied allegations of nuclear tests in Parchin and insisted that it was a normal military base.
