Turk met Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on Thursday to say goodbye at the end of her tenure in Hanoi.
Mr. Chinh congratulated and thanked the WB Country Director for her successful four-year term in Vietnam. He applauded the WB for providing practical support during Vietnam's renewal process over the past 30 years, and
proposed that the WB increase capital funding for Vietnam, focusing on key large-scale projects in green transformation, digital transformation, strategic transportation, climate change response, and other fields.
Prime Minister Chinh invited the WB President to visit Vietnam as soon as possible to develop a more substantial and effective partnership between the two sides.
