While visiting the Vietnam War Veterans’ Association today/Wednesday, President Truong Tan Sang was given a briefing on the association’s development over the past 2 decades.

While visiting the Vietnam War Veterans’ Association today/Wednesday, President Truong Tan Sang was given a briefing on the association’s development over the past 2 decades. It now has more than 2.6 million members, who are doing their best to help one another reduce poverty levels and raise people’s standard of living. President Sang said: “The setting up of the association was highly significant. Its achievements over the past 2 decades are greatly appreciated by the public and the government. The association has proved it can provide reliable and efficient support for local party organizations, governments and ordinary people”.
